Fees and Referrals
The cost for an individual therapy session of 50 minutes is $240.
Medicare Rebate: If you are seeking a Medicare referral, visit your GP to organise a Mental Health Treatment Plan. The MHTP will give you access to a rebate with Medicare, after paying the full session fee. You are eligible for 10 rebated sessions in the calendar year. With a MHCP rebate available of $131.65 – you will be out of pocket $108.35 per session.
Private Health: Please check with your health insurance provider if you are eligible to claim for psychology appointments. The rebates you are able to claim will depend on your individual health fund and level of cover.
No Referral: You do not need a referral to access psychological sessions. However, if you do not have a referral you will not be able to claim relevant rebates for the session costs.
